I have used embossed a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock using the one of the designs from the retired Delicate Designs Embossing Folders and die cut it using the Large Scallop Die. The satin ribbon is retired Real Red from my ribbon stash.
The image has been die cut using the Ovals Collection and then layered on Real Red cardstock which has been die using a die from the Nestabilities Opulent Ovals die set. The For You is from a stamp set from Inspired by Stamping, punched out using the Oval Punch and the die a Marianne Die from the Petra Large Oval collection.

Christmas Embossing
Just a quick post to share with you the details of our new challenge over at Holly Jolly for this week.
The theme is simple:
Embossing
Can be dry embossing or heat embossing as long as it is Christmas and our challenge is sponsored by Fitztown.
I have used dry embossing and the layout of my card has been inspired by the current sketch at House of Cards.
Once more I have gone CAS in style and I have used a wonderful sentiment from the Christmas Messages stamp set. I just love the font.
The colours used are Island Indigo and Whisper White and for a bit of glitz and glam I have die cut some silver glitter paper using one of the Memory Box dies from the Peaceful Snowflake Frame Set.
The sentiment has been stamped in Island Indigo ink and then cut out using the Ovals Collection Dies and layered with dimensionals on some Crumb Cake cardstock which has the glitter frame.
The embossing folder used is the Northern Flurry folder and the paper is the retired Winter Frost Speciality DSP.
There is also little bit of Island Indigo ribbon which has been used to separate the DSP and the Whisper White Embossing cardstock.
Here is my card:
I just love how the stamp has been created to show a sort of washed out effect of the words and I love this colour it is so versatile.

The embossed snowflake folder is called Northern Flurry and I think created a great background for this little penguin image. I have added a few Rhinestones and a bow using the Organza Whisper White Ribbon.

Ribbon & Bows
So if you we would love to see you there if you get a chance plus you could win a wonderful prize from our sponsor Stamping Boutique.

I just loved the colours in this paper plus there were some die cut hearts in the pack. I have used about 4 of these hearts to create the border behind the image.
I have also used some flowers (non-SU) from my stash and the wonderful retired satin ribbon Pretty in Pink for the ribbon and created two bows.
The Happy Birthday sentiment is from the Sketched Birthday stamp set and has been die cut using the Bitty Banners die.
I have also used the Scallop Trim Border punch, Large Scallop Edgelits die as well as one of the embossing folders from the Delicate Designs set.

O’ Christmas Tree
It is hard to believe that Christmas is so close – I really need to plan my Christmas shopping.
This week’s Challenge at Holly Jolly is themed around the Christmas Tree.
So if you are creating and have a Christmas Tree on your card – please join us!!
I recently purchased the Craft Stamper Magazine and Chrissie Stokes created a lovely looking one layer card, so Chrissie’s card has has inspired my project for this weeks challenge.
I masked the bottom of the card and then stamped the En Francais stamped over to one side in Versamark. Then I sponged Bashful Blue and Perfect Plum over the embossing. The Christmas tree from the Snow Swirled stamp set was then stamped over the sponging in Perfect Plum.
I stamped 3 little stars on the tree in Bashful Blue and added some bling and ribbon. The sentiment is from the Peaceful Wishes stamp set.
Here is my card:
Supplies:
Stamp set: Peaceful Wishes, Snow Swirled, En Francais
Card: Whisper White
Ink: Perfect Plum, Bashful Blue, Versamark
Accessories: Clear Embossing Powder, Ribbon (retired), Basic Rhinestones, Dimensionals
I think this might be the 2nd one layered card I have completed but I love the end result. What colours shall I play with next ? Lol.
I would like to add this card to the following challenges:
