CCC – Anything but a Card

Do you love Anything but a  Card challenges?  Yes maybe No?

I am in the middle - No because it is not easy all the time to think of something to create but

Yes because you are glad that you challenged yourself to create something you not have normally done.

So this is me this week – what was I going to do for this challenge but glad with the end result :)

Our challenge at Crafty Creations this week is sponsored by Guylou Inimitability so there are prizes also!

I have used the Sponsor’s image and printed it on Whisper White cardstock  and printed it on a piece of the DSP from International Bazaar.

I then cut out the image and layered it on the Whisper White cardstock, coloured the image in with a touch of Blushing Bride ink and added some colour to her shoes.

Plus of course I had to add a touch of pink to the cocktail glass because if you are celebrating you need a drink in your hand – LOL (now that may not be alcoholic but it’s a girls choice!)

I typed the sentiment on the computer and cut it out with one of  the dies from the Apothecary Accents Framelits.

Here is the bag that I created

Well time has also gone quickly and here we are with a new challenge at Come and Get It this week.

The challenge is being hosted by Julie and she has Tic Tac Toe for everyone to play.

I do not know about you but sometimes when I have too many choices, I find it hard to choose what I am going to do and there are some great choices in Julie’s Tic Tac Toe.

I finally decided to use Black, Ribbon and Gems but in the end my card could also use Blue, Free and Gems.

Inkspirational Sketch Challenge

We are on to our fourth challenge at Inkspirational Challenges and this week it is one of my favourites – a Sketch!!

I am not sure about you but I love to use a sketch, it can really make you think outside the “norm” and I love it when it all comes together.

Well my card is another fairly simple design and I have used the new Paper Doily Sizzlits Die that I recently purchased.  One layer is in Whisper White cardstock and the other in Crumb Cake cardstock.

The paper is from the Birds of a Feather DSP pack and the flowers on the word banner have been pouched out of a piece of scrap Island Indigo card stock with the flower punch from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Back.

The sentiment is from the Loving Thoughts stamp set.

Here is my take on the sketch…
