Summer Reindeer

We have a fabulous Christmas Challenge over at Holly Jolly featuring “Reindeer”, now who doesn’t have an image of a Reindeer!

We would love you to join us and we are lucky to have our challenge sponsored by Meljen, so you could win a prize!

I have used the sponsor’s image called Summer Reindeer and it is the focal point of my card. I have added some retired SU DSP called “International Bazaar” definitely not Christmas DSP but suits the colours of the image.

I added a corner to the card and stamped “Season’s Greeting” from the More Merry Messages stamp set – love this set!  Plus I used some of the new Natural Chevron Ribbon from the Seasonal Catalogue.

Just for a little bit more I punched one side of the Midnight Muse card stock with Eyelet Border Punch.

Here is my card:

CAGI – Domestic Animals

Our fun themed challenge at Come and Get It this week is:

Domestic Animals

I have used our sponsor for the challenge is Oak Pond Creations and I have used their image called Fancy Fish.  We have all had a fish at some stage growing up so this little fish is my domestic animal for this challenge.

The layout for my card has been inspired by the current sketch at Sketch N Stash.  The DSP called Watercolour Wonder is new and is from the Seasonal Catalogue -I just love the fun colours and to me they fit perfectly with the little fish.

Lots of bling (non-SU) and I have used the Nestablities dies Beaded Ovals and Lacey Circles.  I have also used the Oval Collections Die from SU.

The sentiment reads “Dreaming of Everything wonderful for You” and the Whisper White Organza Ribbon is from my stash.  I have used Scallop Edge Border punch.  Lots of different elements.

Here is my card:

P1010835_edited-1

I love the CAS sketches that Clean and Simple provide and I have used them many times before and again today to create my card.

I saw the sketch but was not sure what stamp set(s) I would use.  I recently placed an order from the current Seasonal Catalogue and also got some freebies because of Sale-a-Bration and my order arrived in time to create my card for this challenge.

I have used the sentiment from the Perfect Pennants stamp set from the Seasonal Catalogue.  The banners have been stamped using the Banner Blast set and punched our using the Banner punch which both part of Sale-a-Bration.

The little hearts have been punched out using the Owl Builder punch and I have used the colours, Perfect Plum, Strawberry Slush and Coastal Cabana.  The base card is Crumb Cake and the main layer is Very Vanilla.

Here is my card:

Inkspirational Bingo

Hello everyone,

Two weeks have past and we have a new challenge at Inkspirational.

For the next two week’s we are playing Bingo or Tic Tac Toe, so there are lots of choices and we would love to see you there!

I have chosen Bling, Ribbon and Flowers and the layout of my card has been inspired by Deconstructed Sketch Challenge.

I just love the two sentiment stamps form the Million and One stamp set and I love the quick background the Gingham Washi Tape creates.

The first piece of Washi Tape has lots of little flowers on it and the main flower is from the Secret Garden stamp set.  I have stamped it three times and then cut the flowers up and layered them.

Added Bling, love bling and the beautiful satin Daffodil Delight Ribbon from my SU Ribbon stash. You know I do love ribbon too!

The little flag was created using the Bitty Banners die and the border using the Eyelet Border punch.

Here is my card:

Hi everyone,

We have fun challenge this week at Holly Jolly, we would like you to create a Christmas Card for a Child.

We have another great sponsor The Stamping Boutique, so please come and join us and share what you create!

I have used the Christmas Reindeer image from The Stamping Boutique and teamed it up with some paper from the Couture Creations Vintage Christmas Paper Pad.

The fun layout is from the current challenge at Sketch Saturday and I have used my copic markers to add some colour to the image.

I have used Midnight Muse (love this colour) for the base of the card and layered some Crumb Cake cardstock under the image.  The Real Red ribbon is retired and from my SU ribbon stash!

But of course where would any card be with out some ‘bling’.

Here is my card:

We would love everyone to share the ‘girly’ project with us and be in the running to win some wonderful prizes.  We have two sponsors for this challenge, Lacy Sunshine and Limited Run.

I have used a Limited Run image called Molly.  To me this image yells ‘teenager’ but I loved it when I saw it.

The layout for my card has been inspired by the current sketch at Sketch n Stash.

The beautiful paper I have used is one of the items you can earn free with Sale-a-bration and I love the colours.  The paper is called Sweet Sorbet and I have used Crisp Cantaloupe card stock which compliments the paper.

I decided to create a square card today as I wanted to showed off the image and the sketch a little more.

The image is die cut with the SU Ovals Collection and the flowers/bling are from my stash.  I have also added some embossing using the retired SU Lacy Brocade embossing folder.

Here is my card:

P1010818_edited-1

Yes, handmade Christmas tags plus our challenge is sponsored by Bugaboo.

I have used the sponsor’s image called Deer Duo and the base tag is one of those vanilla shipping tags.  Not sure if that is what they are called but it was perfect find in my stash.

I added some SU paper from a stamp a stack and some Summer Starfruit & Raspberry Ripple Stitched Satin Ribbon.  The oval die is from the Ovals Collection and the punch is retired Eyelet Punch.

The image has been coloured in with my Copic markers and I have tried to use colours that would go with the paper.
