Easter Box

Our challenge theme at Crafty Creations is:

Anything but a Card

and our sponsor is Robyn’s Fetish

Now I know it may see a little strange that I am sharing with you an Easter Box at the end of April but this post is all about cuteness!

I have created the Easter box using the Fancy Favour Box Die as well as a number of Punches and for the head a Nestabilities Decorative Elements Lacey Circle Die.

The punches used were: Large Oval , Small Oval, Owl Builder, 1” Circle and Circle from Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack.

I used Whisper White, Basic Black and Crumb Cake cardstock and some shredded pink tissue paper from my stash.

Here is my Easter Box

and with some Eggs

P1010930_edited-1

Now I know that you will think that this is cute but wait there is more!

In the past few weeks our home has been visited by some real little bunnies and I capture some photos to show you:

P1010916_edited-1

P1010917_edited-1

P1010921_edited-1

To my surprise there was four little bunnies in the backyard and they all are similar in colouring but I think the photos are of two of them.  Told you there was lots of cuteness in this post!

I would like to enter my Easter Box into the following challenges:

Christmas Embossing

Just a quick post to share with you the details of our new challenge over at Holly Jolly for this week.

The theme is simple:

Embossing

Can be dry embossing or heat embossing as long as it is Christmas and our challenge is sponsored by Fitztown.

I have used dry embossing and the layout of my card has been inspired by the current sketch at House of Cards.

Once more I have gone CAS in style and I have used a wonderful sentiment from the Christmas Messages stamp set.  I just love the font.

The colours used are Island Indigo and Whisper White and for a bit of glitz and glam I have die cut some silver glitter paper using one of the Memory Box dies from the Peaceful Snowflake Frame Set.

The sentiment has been stamped in Island Indigo ink and then cut out using the Ovals Collection Dies and layered with dimensionals on some Crumb Cake cardstock which has the glitter frame.

The embossing folder used is the Northern Flurry folder and the paper is the retired Winter Frost Speciality DSP.

There is also little bit of Island Indigo ribbon which has been used to separate the DSP and the Whisper White Embossing cardstock.

Here is my card:

P1010929_edited-1

I just love how the stamp has been created to show a sort of washed out effect of the words and I love this colour it is so versatile.

Here is the sketch:

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

House of Cards Monthly Challenge – CAS and/or Classic/Elegant & Sketch

Spring Flowers

Hello and thanks for visiting!

I am sharing with you my card for the new challenge at Come and Get It this week which is hosted by Judy.  The theme is:

Spring Flowers

We are lucky this week and have two sponsor’s A Day for Daisies and Lacy Sunshine.  I have used an image from Lacy Sunshine called Honey Spring Bee Buggmee and coloured the image in with my Copic markers.

I have also used a piece of designer paper I picked up from a local craft shop which is from Kaiser Craft and is from the Forget Me Not Collection.  The flowers are from my stash and I have tried my hand at a double bow in the Whisper White Organza Ribbon and secured with Antique Brad.

The sentiment is from the Just Believe stamp set and is punched out using the small oval punch and layered on a die from the Marianne Design Petra’s Large Ovals LR0240 set.

The image has been die cut using one of the dies from the Ovals Collection and the layer behind is Not Quite Navy cardstock which has been embossed with the Lacy Brocade Embossing folder and die cut using the Top Note Die.

P1010925_edited-1

A touch of bling as well and I think the card has a very Spring like feel.

I have used the following Copic markers to colour the image:

Flower: B00, 93, 95, E30, 33, G000, 21, 40

Face: Skin & Eyes: E0000, 000, 00, 21, B04, R21

Hair: E0000, 42, 43, 40

Christmas Snowman

Hi everyone and thank for stopping by.

I just wanted to share with you my post for the new challenge at Holly Jolly for this week which is hosted by Judy.  The theme is:

Snowman/Snowballs

Our challenge is sponsored by 2 Cute 2 Ink and I have used one of Heidi’s images called Penguin.  As you will see from the image the Penguin is just starting out creating his snowman and really looks like he is having fun.

I have use a new die I recently purchased which is a Marianne Die called Petra's Large Ovals LR0240 and it is adorable.  I have daubered on the embossed edges with Sahara Sand and Pool Party ink.

The embossed snowflake folder is called Northern Flurry and I think created a great background for this little penguin image.  I have added a few Rhinestones and a bow using the Organza Whisper White Ribbon.

Here is my card:

P1010912_edited-1

Reason for the Season

Cindy is hosting this week’s challenge at Holly Jolly.

Our Theme is: Reason for the Season

To me Christmas is a time to celebrate and get in touch with family and friends.  So one way we all get in touch with family and friends is to create our Christmas cards and send a Christmas Wish.

Our challenge is sponsored by The Stamping Boutique and I have used an image called Mail Girl.

She is sending all those Christmas cards for us all to celebrate the season.

I have coloured the image in using my Copic Markers and I have used a number of dies including SU Ovals Framelits, Spellbinders Shapeabilities Venetian Motifs, Spellbinders Nestabilities Beaded Ovals and Memory Box Peaceful Snowflake Frame Dies.

The Merry Christmas sentiment is from the Teen Tiny Sentiments stamp set and I have punched it out using the Modern Label Punch.

The papers are from a collection pack by Sullivans and the ribbon is retired Old Olive Satin Ribbon.  From my stash I have used a SU Frosted Finishes embellishment and some lace.

I wanted a sort of vintage look and the papers had a sort of distressed look to them plus I have also added extra ink on the beaded oval shape and the snowflake label using a sponge and Baked Brown Sugar ink and the Baked Brown Sugar cardstock.

The ink and red cardstock is retired Riding Hood Red.  The sparkle in the snow is created using some Crystal Effects and Dazzling Diamonds glitter.  There is also some bling on the snowflakes around the image.

Here is my card:

P1010904_edited-1

The Copic markers:

Coat/Hat/Stockings: YG91, 93, 95, 97

Skin: E0000, 000, 00, 21

Shoes/Mailbox: W00, 1, 3, 5

Snow: C1

Post: E40, 42, 43, 55
