Photo Inspiration

We have a fun Photo Inspiration at Crafty Creations for the next two weeks and we would love you to join us.



Our challenge is sponsored by Stitchy Bear Stamps and I have used a super sweet image called Flower Boy 1 which has been coloured in with Copic Markers.
 
The paper used is from Fabscraps and is called Wild Tones #C59007. These colours have inspired the colours on the image.

I was inspired by the flowers, blue colour, word “wish” and the shape of the biscuits “square”.
 
 
The dies used are from the SU Circles & Nestabilities Classic Scalloped Circles. The sentiment is from the SU Butterfly Basic Set and has been punched out with an SU Tag punch, the ink is Midnight Muse.  I have also used the Decorative Dots SU Embossing folder on the Sahara Sand cardstock.  The

White Plus One

We have a fun new challenge at Holly Jolly Christmas Challenge for you.

Our theme is White Plus One colour.

We have three fabulous sponsors, Stitchy Bear, QKR Stampede and Sami Stamps.

I have used an image from Stitchy Bear called Christmas Sled which has been coloured with Copic Markers.

The layout is simple and the colour is a very soft blue/Green.  It almost makes me feel a little cold so the snowflakes I thought seem perfect.

Spring is in the Air

 
Hi everyone,
 
Just adding my card for the Come and Get It challenge which was on 26 April.
 
For whatever reason my original post has disappeared, so please if I have entered this card into any challenges I did not keep a record so cannot update on this post.
 
The card that I created used an image from our Sponsor Odd Ball Art and is called Big Eyed Girl Animal Love Sara N Friends.
 
Here is my card:
 
 
 
I love the papers that were used and they were from Fairy Rhymes Collection "Violet" by Jodie Lee #950330 and Mind's Eye Unforgettable "Today" Remember.
 
The lace is from my stash and I paper pieced the cardstock and paper around the edges.
 
The dies used were SU Ovals and Marianne Design Large Petra Oval.

Words

Hello everyone – hope your week has started off well, our here in Sydney have been very wet and cold.  Hopefully the rain will ease a bit soon.

 

I am share with you my card for our new challenge over at Southern Girls Challenge and we have a new fun theme “Words”.

 

Can be a few words or a lot but we want to see words on your creations.

 

I have created a card using an Elisabeth Bell stamped image but can also be found in digital form also at Elisabeth Bell’s shop.

 

The paper used is from Fern & Forest called “Little Yellow Bicycle” FNG109 which I had in my stash and it has some great words on it like “wishes, love, magical, dreams” and so it was perfect for this challenge.  The colours were perfect too!

The sentiment is from an SU A Dozen Thoughts stamp set and is stamped in Wild Wasabi ink.

The punch is the eyelet border punch and the cardstock is Sahara Sand.

H is for Happy Birthday

Our sponsor is Di's Digi Design and I have used a Candibean image called Penny's Dandelion Shower and coloured it in with Copic Markers.
 
I have gone very purple with a touch of green and yellow and added some purple pearls from stash too!

The base card stock is Perfect Plum and have also used some Naturals Ivory cardstock.
 
The Lace is SU Sahara Sand and the die is a Memory Box die Lace Circle.

CCC - Seeing Spots

 
Just a quick post to share with you the details of our new challenge at Crafty Creations Challenges.
 
Our theme for the next two weeks is: Seeing Spots
 
I have used an Gorjuss image called "Little Red" and the paper used is from My Mind's Eye by Jen Allyso and the Collectable papers.
 
The sentiment is from the SU A Dozen Thoughts stamp set and reads "Just Because", love the script.

Love the bright flowers in the paper and the spots on the other side.
 
The ribbon is a retired SU Pretty in Pink and the embellishment is Frosted Finishes.

Christmas Trees

 
Hello and thanks for visiting.
 
Our new challenge at Holly Jolly is about Trees.
 
Our challenge is sponsored by Meljen's, Sentimental Susan, Fitztown and Bugaboo, so please come and join us!
 
I have used an image from Sentiment Susan called Digital Bells, which have been coloured in with Copic Markers.
 
These cute little bells are hanging from a Tree branch and the branches were created using a retired SU Stamp set called Peaceful Wishes.
 
The Sentiment is from the SU Christmas Messages stamp set, plus I have added some paper piecing around the edge of the card.

Who Loves to Dance?

 
Hi everyone,
 
We have a new challenge over at Come and Get It Challenge with Children in mind.
 

Our theme is: Make a Card for a Child

 
Our two sponsors are: The Stamping Boutique and All Dressed Up,
 
 
My card has been created for my niece Phoebe who turned 10 this week just gone. 
 
She is a beautiful dancer and this image called Love to Dance by All Dressed Up was a perfect choice.
 
The colours I have used have been inspired by the beautiful colours of the flower design paper that I used which is by PD & J Picnic Basket and the other paper is from my stash.

The lace is from my stash and the beautiful die is by Marianne Designs Die LR0300. Some ink Coastal Cabana was added to the embossing.
 
The cardstock used is Basic Grey, Coastal Cabana and Copic Xpress It.

I have used an image from San's Design a cute little Easter Bunny image which has been coloured in with Copic Markers.
 
I have also used a Joy Craft Die 6002/0251 which is a border butterfly die.  The card stock is Crisp Cantaloupe and the paper is a retired SU paper.

ABC Goes Digital


Another card to share with you for our new challenge over at ABC Challenges.

Our new theme is "Go Digital", so we would love to see your digital images and papers.

Our Sponsor is Aurora Wings and I have used one of the their lovely images called Rose Fairy II.

I have coloured the image in with Copic Markers, added some pearls and lace which is from my stash.

The paper used is from Couture Creations Vintage Rose Garden, I have used both sides of the paper.
