X is for Xtreme

We have a fun new challenge over at ABC Challenges and we would love you to join us!

Our challenge is X for Xtreme
(so bright, bold colours)

We have two fabulous sponsors Marianne Designs plus Stamp & Create

I have used a Magnolia image called Tilda Loves Flowers and coloured the image in with Copic Markers.

The dies used are from the SU Ovals Collection, Marianne Design Petra Large Oval and Marianne Design LR0280 (Heart Design).

I cut the Marianne Design Heart die twice once in Melon Mambo cardstock and the other in Whisper White cardstock.  The Whisper White die I cut down to fit on the other date and stamped Wishes word in Melon Mambo ink from the SU Endless Wishes stamp set.

The paper used is Kaiserkraft Telegraph Collection – Believes.  The cardstock used is SU Melon Mambo, Sahara Sand and Xpress It Blending cardstock.

The embossing on the Marianne Large Petra Oval die have been daubered with Sahara Sand ink.

The Lace was in my stash a present from my Mum and then a small bit of paper was placed on top and then the sparkle strip on top.

Holly Jolly Christmas

Over at Holly Jolly for the rest of this month we have created Christmas Projects and Cards to showcase our Sponsor’s image.

 

For the first challenge I have used a Bugaboo Image Christmas Mouse Ornaments and cut the image out and layered it on this love paper from Kaisercraft Silvers Bells Collection.

A Bit of What You Fancy

At Southern Girls Challenge we have a fun new challenge which we hope you join us.

Wishes

Hello and I hope you are well.

 

We have a lovely challenge over at ABC Challenge which we are sure you will want to join:

What will you wish for ?  Mine is a Christmas wish and I have used one of our sponsor’s beautiful images.  Our sponsor is Polkadoodle.

 

A very simple layout as I just adore the image and the SU Softly Falling embossing folder creates a perfect background.

 

The cardstock used is SU Marina Mist and Shimmer Whisper White plus Xpress It Blending cardstock.

Paris

I have another card to share with you for our challenge at Crafty Creations.

 

For the next two weeks our theme is Paris.

 

A fabulous theme and I found some great paper by Prima Marketing from the En Francais Collection “Memoire”.

 

Plus I raided my stamp stash and found my Non- Sequitur stamps which had this fabulous image on it.

 

Here is my card:

I stamped the image on Whisper White cardstock with VersaMark ink and then heat embossed with Black Embossing powder.

 

I then added some Frantage Shabby White, Aged Ochre and Shabby Blue.

 

The sentiment is from the SU A Dozen Thoughts stamp set and the punch is SU Scalloped Edge punch.

 

The other cardstock used is SU Not Quite Navy and Bravo Burgundy.

Christmas Embossing

Hello and thanks for visiting.

 

Just a quick post to share with you my card for our new challenge at Holly Jolly.

 

For the next two weeks we would love you to share with us your Christmas Embossing.

 

We have some fabulous sponsors The Stamping Boutique, Sami Stamps and Di’s Digi’s.

 

I have used a Di’s Digi called Penguin Love and coloured the image in with Copic Markers.

 

I have used a lovely part of a sheet of paper by Bo Bunny called Christmas Collage – Carolling.

 

For my embossing I used an embossing folder I have had for a while and was a gift on a craft magazine.  I added some Calypso Coral ink to the embossing with a dauber.

 

Other than a few layers, it is a fairly simple card but the paper is lovely so I did not want to add more.

Snowmen

Hello – hope you are having a wonderful Sunday.

 

Just a quick post to share with you my card for our new challenge at Come and Get It.

 

Our challenge theme being so close to Christmas is Snowmen

 

We have some fabulous sponsors Sami Stamps and Crafty Sentiments.

 

I have used a Crafty Sentiments stamp called Snowman with Candy Cane and Holly, the image has been coloured in with Copic Markers.

 

I have used the SU paper Home for Christmas and the cardstock used is Sahara Sand, Real Red and Express It Blending cardstock.

 

The snowflakes are an SU products Snowflake Elements and I have added a little white to them using White Gel pen and then some sparkle with the Wink of Stella Clear pen.

The die cuts used are from SU Circles Collection and Spellbinder Nestabilities Lacey Circles.  The ribbon is a retired Real Red ribbon.

 

The larger Rhinestones are an SU product, the little red ones are from my stash.  The snow texture at the bottom of the image is a Fake Snow I pickup from a shop and added for a bit of fun.

Ribbons and Pearls

Hi and thanks for visiting.

We have a great new challenge at Holly Jolly and now I have another card for my Christmas card stash.

One of our sponsors is Melonheadz and I have used one of their images called Christmas Elves.

The image was coloured in with Copic Markers and the paper I have used are from a SU DSP pack called Home for Christmas. I just love this paper set, so many cool designs.

The paper inspired the colours I have used to colour the image.

The Ribbon I have used is retired SU Real Red satin ribbon and the pearls are also SU.

The ornament sentiment is a chipboard piece from Scrapmatts in Australia and the chipboard pieces are from the Christmas Ornaments collection.  I added some Real Red ink with a dauber to the chipboard.

The ornament is hanging of the ribbon bow with some twine and I added pearl on top. The pearl had a little Real Red ink added to it with the dauber.

The cardstock used is Real Red, Basic Black and Xpress It Blending cardstock.

Lots of Sparkle

We have a fun “Lots of Sparkle” Challenge over at Come and Get It for the next week.

 

I have used one of the images from one of our Sponsors A Day for Daisies called Joy Angel.

 

The image has been coloured in with Copic Markers and the layout of my card is fairly CAS.

 

For the sparkles I have used SU Dazzling Diamond Glitter on the wings and punched some hearts out of the Red Glitter paper with the Owl Builder Punch.  I also added some Rhinestones to the base cardstock.

Ribbon, Twine or Tape

We have a new exciting challenge over at Southern Girls Challenges.

I have used a sweet image called Key to My Heart by Ching-Chou Kuik.  It is the first time I have used one of these lovely images and the image has been coloured in with Copic Markers.

 

The image was die cut with a die from the SU Ovals Collection and the Spellbinders Nestabilities Beaded Ovals set.

 

The flowers, lace and ribbon are all from my stash. The papers are from by Creativ and Kaisercraft.  The ribbon is an SU ribbon.

We have a new challenge at ABC Challenge and our new challenge theme is:

I have used a Magnolia image called Sweet Christmas Tilda from the 2011 Christmas collection.  I have coloured the image in with Copic Markers.

 

The colours used were inspired by this lovely Christmas paper I purchased recently. It is from KaiserCraft Silver Bells Collection and is called Carol #P1930.  The papers have lots of Christmas carols music words and notes on it but I have used a section of the paper which has some snowflakes and Christmas ornaments.

 

The additional snowflakes and sequins are from the SU Frosted Sequins Embellishments.

Colourful

Snowman

Hello!!!

 

We have a new challenge over at Holly Jolly as Christmas will be here before we know it and we are getting ahead of created our Christmas cards.

 

Our theme is Snowman and we have some great sponsors -

 

I have used an image called Snow Dad and it is from  sponsor.  The image has been coloured with Copic markers.

 

I have added a snowflake border using the Martha Stewart Winter Snow around the page punch. With some Rhinestones on some of the solid snowflakes.

  The colours used are not traditional but I love the cool feel of the finished card.

The sentiment is from a freebie set on a magazine DoCrafts Papermainia Folk Christmas and has been stamped in Soft Sky ink and punched out using the SU Ticket Punch.

The papers are from my stash and the dies used were from SU Ovals Collection & Marianne Design Large Petra Oval collection.

The small flowers are an orange/yellow colour and the other which is much darker in the photo is an Olive Green Colour, so that brings out the colour in the image’s eyes.

 

The lace is from my stash and so are the SU Pearls.  I have also used some White Opal Liquid Pearls for the pearls in the hair.

T is for Two

Just a quick post to share with you my card for the new challenge at ABC Challenges

The design team have created some fabulous project so please come and have a look.

 

 

Our theme  is T for Two, so using Two of something.

 

I have used 2 different papers and 2 different dies.

 

Our sponsor is Aurora Wings and I have used the lovely image Lotus Sprite (Big Eye) Water Lily Fairy, which has been coloured in with Copic Markers.

 

I have used some very girly pink colours with some green.

Don’t be Blue

We have a super cool challenge over at Crafty Creations for the next two weeks.

 

Our theme is “Don’t be Blue”, so we would love to see creations to cheer someone up or not use Blue.

Christmas Teddy Bear

Time to share with you my Christmas card for the Holly Jolly Christmas challenge.  Our theme:

 

Teddy Bears

 

We have some great sponsors too, so please come over and join us!

 

 

I have used my own image and this was the first stamp that I fell in love with when I started stamping. The stamp is by PSX and product number is K-980.

 

He is perfect for this challenge and my card is created in a CAS style using SU Shimmer White cardstock and some DSP from my stash.

 

The end of the DSP has been punched using the Scallop Edge Bunch.

The little sentiment is from the SU Festival of Trees stamp set and reads “ A Merry Little Wish…” which has been stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink.

 

The circles have been punched using the Owl Builder punch and the heart from a retired little heart punch.

Celebrations

We have a new challenge over at Southern Girls and we are Celebrating!

Sprinkles

I still trying to catch up on some sleep after our overseas trip so I am a little late in posting my card for our new challenge at ABC Challenges where we have a fun new theme:

Sprinkles could be glitter, embossing powder or even Frantage and our sponsor is Art by Miran.

 

I have a used an Art by Miran image called Winter Sofia and coloured the image in with Copic Markers.

 

I have added some Frantage Shabby White, Pink and Green to the wood chip SU Snowflake Elements embellishments and also some Dazzling Diamonds Glitter to the image.

Clear It Out

Yep we have a Use Your Stash challenge over at Come and Get It this week.

 

We have some great sponsors and I have used an image called BSA Bike from Sentimental Susan.

 

I decided to leave the image in black with no colour but cut the image out with the Nestabilities Decorative Label 8 Die.

 

The paper and lace were from my stash and I also used the SU Ticket punch which has not been used recently. 

 

I also decided this would be a perfect Father’s Day card for my Dad.

More than 1 Fold

A new week and a new challenge at Come and Get It with a super fun theme.

 

The theme is: More than 1 Fold

 

There are so many creative folds that people use but I have used a Z Fold for my card and a sweet image from Di’s Digis who are our sponsor for this challenge.

 

I have used Cantaloupe Crisp, Crumb Cake, Whisper White and Xpress It Blending cardstock.
