SG Girl Power

We have another fun challenge of at Southern Girls starting today.

Our theme: Girl Power

I have used an Oddball Art called Big Eye Girl Josie and the Butterflies, the image has been coloured with Copic Markers.

Here's my card:

I have used a number of the dies from the SU Rectangle Stitched Framelits Collections for the sentiment and layers of the image.

The edge border was created with a die from the SU Delicate Lace Edgelit.

The cardstock used is SU Highland Heather, Sahara Sand and Xpress It Blending Cardstock.

Here is a close up of the image:

The beautiful DSP is part of SU Sale-a-Bration and the butterfly has been punched out of the DSP.

The sentiment is from the SU Strong & Beautiful stamp set and has been stamped in SU Balmy Blue ink.

Team Blog Hop

Hello and welcome!

It's a new month and a new team blog hop!

You would have just arrived from Melissa's blog and seen her fabulous creation.

If you are just arriving our challenge this month is to use 3 or more colours from the photo below:

I have used the Bloom by Bloom stamp set and stamped in all the colours - Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight, Grapefruit Grove, Highland Heather and Lemon Lime Twist.

A few layers and a die and here is my card:

The base card is Balmy Blue and I have stamped on Whisper White.

The Basic Black has been die cut from one of the dies in the Delicate Lace Edgelits Die.

I also added a little bling with the sequins.

Here is a closer look at the sentiment and images:

The sentiment is from the Butterfly Gala stamp set and I rounded two of the corners using the Detailed Trio Punch.

The sentiment has been layered on a punched 2" circle.

We hope you enjoy our team blog hop and find a little inspiration.

There are so many great SAB items you can achieve for free - want to know more please contact me.

Guest DT

Hello and welcome.

I am sharing with you a card I created for the Crafting by Designs challenge where I have been asked to contribute as a Guest DT.

The challenge theme is Love.

I have water coloured an image from the SU Fables Friends stamp set and added lots of hearts.

Here is my card:

I wanted a soft look to the water colouring and a fairly simple design.

The base cardstock is SU Melon Mambo and the hearts are from the SU Meant To Be stamp set and inked with SU Melon Mambo ink.

The layered card is SU Sahara Sand and I have trimmed the edge with a die from the Be Mine Stitched Framelits and of course a little bling too.

Here is a close up of the image:

The image was stamped on SU Thick Whisper White cardstock with StazOn Jet Black ink.

The sentiment is from the SU Strong & Beautiful stamp set.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
