More Storybook DSP Cards

Some more Storybook DSP cards.

I have the DSP and as lovely as I wanted to continue to use!

My first card uses Pecan Pie as the base with Basic White which as been embossed with the 3D Distressed Tile folder

The butterfly is a die cut and the sentiment is from the Greetings for all Mix & Match Ephemera Pack and I have added some Basic Beige to the sentiment so it is not so white.
There is also some Rhinestones for a little sparkle.

My next card has base cardstock of Cajun Craze which also goes well with the papers and images.

I created a frame with the retired Rectangle Stitched Dies as I wanted a border using the DSP.
The layer of Basic White has some pieces embossed using the 3D Distressed Tile folder.

The images of the squirrels and the ground are die cuts and the sentiment is from Greetings for all Mix & Match Ephemera Pack.  A little bling as always has been added.

My last card again using the DSP and Ephemera Sentiments.

The base cardstock is Cajun Craze with some basic white.
DSP layers and die cuts.

Now I just need to decorate the inside and they are ready to be given out.

Have a great day.

Storybook Moments DSP

The Storybook Moments Designer Series Paper on page 25 in the Mini Catalogue is lovely to create cards with.  There are 2 each of 5 double sided designs and 2 sheets of die cuts and some of the designs can be cut out using the Storybook Friends Die.

When I first order the paper I wanted to create some cards using papers and also the the sentiments from the Greetings for All Mix & Match Ephemera Page on page 13 of the Mini Catalogue.

Here are a few cards I created

The base cardstock is Pecan Pie and then I have layered some of the images/frames from the paper.
The squirrel is a die cut from the DSP and it has been added with dimensionals along with the sentiment.  There is some sparkle with the Antique Pearls.

This second card uses more of the paper and I have fussy cut some items such as the pitch fork and shovel.

The other images are die cuts and I have added the carrots by cutting into the wheel barrow.
The base card stock is Pecan Pie and there is Basic Beige which has been die cut using Retired Radiating Stitches Dies.

My last card has lots of DSP layers with a base card of Cherry Cobbler and a little Basic White.

Some White Linen Thread and the house image cut using the retired Deckled Circles Die. There is a little sparkle with some Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Have a wonderful day crafting.

Team Blog Hop # 59

Welcome to our team blog hop.

This month we have a colour challenge.

The colours are perfect for Halloween but I have used them to create some cute little bug cards using the Hello Lady Bug stamp set.

I stamped the leaves in Old Olive on a full page of Basic White cardstock.
The leaves were stamped in full ink and then stamped off ink to get the different shades.

I then cut this sheet into 4 and created four cards.

The lady bug body was stamped in Blackberry Bliss as well as the main part of the wings.
The little spots on the wings were stamped in Pumpkin Pie.

Here are the cards created:

The stamp set has three little dots so I add a little more of the Pumpkin Pie colour with this stamp.

The sentiments are from the Layering Leaves stamp set and stamped in Blackberry Bliss on Basic White and die cut using the Stylish Shapes Dies.

Hope you enjoyed my creations.

Enjoy the tour that the my team bloggers have created.

If you get lost here are their links:

See you next time.

Team Blog Hop 50

Welcome to our new monthly team Blog, if you have joined my blog from visiting Sharon's blog - I hope you are enjoying the teams creations!

A New Year and  new challenge.

This month we have a sketch challenge.

What you create with this sketch?

I have created a card using products from the new Mini Catalogue and Sale-a-Bration promotion.

The DSP Favored Flowers is one of the Sale-a-Bration products, beautiful papers with stunning flowers and patterns.

The stamp set and die used are from the new mini catalogue and called Fragrant Flowers Stamp Set and Fragrant Flowers Dies.

I do not mind fussy cutting but there is a co-ordinating die in the Fragrant Flowers Dies that did the work for me. So I die cut a couple of flowers at the one time to make up some other cards later.

This is my card:

The card stock used is Blackberry Bliss and Basic White.

The sentiment from the Fragrant Flowers Stamp Set is stamped in Blackberry Bliss.

The paper is from the Favored Flowers DSP.

The flower and sentiment have been layered up with dimensionals and a few Champagne Rhinestones for a little bling.

The images are from the Bottled Happiness stamp set.

The main flower image was stamped in Calypso Coral and then the second image I have I have applied  the ink using daubers.

Here is my card:

I find that I get a better image if apply the ink to the bottled image.  The ink used for this a neutral colour Sahara Sand.

There is a little bow in linen thread at the top of each bottle and the sentiment also from the Bottled Happiness stamp set has been stamped in Orchid Oasis.

There is also a couple of rhinestones for bling.

Team Blog Hop #41

Welcome to our new Team Blog Hop for April.

This month we have a sketch challenge and it was fun to work with.

For my card I have used the You're A Peach DSP with a little stamping.

Here is my card based on the sketch

I have used a large piece of the DSP and then smaller section.

The leaves are from the Artistically Inked Stamp set stamped in Garden Green and die cut with the
co-ordinating Artistic Dies.

Here is a closer look at the card

The sentiment and flower are from the Sweet as a Peach stamp set.
The flower stamped in Calypso Coral and the sentiment in Early Espresso.

The It's Your Birthday sentiment was die cut using one of the Peach Dies.

I have added Stampin' Dimensionals to lift the sentiments and add the leaves and added a Rhinestone to the flower image.
