Monochromatic Christmas

Hi everyone,

The new challenge this week at Holly Jolly has been created by Cindy and it is a Monochromatic challenge.

My card is very blue – I have used Marina Mist and Night of Navy with some Whisper White.

The Whisper White piece of cardstock has been embossed using the Stripes Embossing Folder and I added some Marina Mist Taffeta Ribbon before I added it to the base card.

I have used the Snow Swirled stamp set – a favourite at the moment.  First I stamped the set in Marina Mist and then I stamped the small snowflake in Night of Navy ink on scrap Whisper White and punched the snowflake out with the larger circle on the Owl Builder Punch.

There is a little ‘bling’ on each snowflake.  The sentiment is stamped in Night of Navy ink and punched out with the Decorative Label punch.

Here is my card…

Stamp set: Snow Swirled

Card: Marina Mist, Night of Navy, Whisper White
Ink: Marina Mist and Night of Navy

Accessories:  Decorative Label Punch, Owl Builder Punch, Marina Mist Taffeta Ribbon (retired), Stripe Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Basic Rhinestones, Dimensionals, SNAIL Adhesive

This is a quick Christmas card and I have added it to my growing Christmas Card pile.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Unique Crafters Monthly Challenge – # 6 Glitter and Shine

Crafty Ann’s Challenge - #72 Christmas in August or Winter Olympics

Stampin for the Weekend - #15 Monochromatic

A Card a Day Monthly Challenge - Embossing

The Cupboard Trilogy Monthly Challenge - Embossing

Charismacardz Challenge - #32 Monochrome

Sparkles Forum Christmas Challenge - #19 Punch It

Need a little more inspiration, please come over and see what the other Design Team Members have created.

Have a wonderful week and I hope to see you over at Holly Jolly :)

Take care…. Meg
