The next card I have created is for the colour challenge from Create with Connie & Mary Color Challenge # CCMC141, which is Real Red, So Saffron, Crumb Cake and Whisper White.

 

 

 

and I have combined this colour challenge with the sketch challenge from Card Patterns Sketch

# 105.

I have used Real Red for the base card and Cheep Talk (Two-Step) Stamp set.

 

 

Supplies:

Stamp set: Cheep Talk

Card: Real Red, Crumb Cake, So Saffron, Whisper White
Ink: Crumb Cake, Real Red

Accessories:  Scallop Edge Border Punch, Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder, Clip Assortment, Dimensionals, SNAIL Adhesive

 

 

You cannot see very clearly from the picture but the So Saffron cardstock has been embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots Folder but it has been placed on the card on the reverse side – just to be different.

SU_Oz Challenge

The Week 6 Challenge in the Stampin_Up_In_Oz Group was to use a stamp set that you had not used at all or recently.

 

I used the Cheep Talk Stamp Set which unfortunately had not been inked until I made this card – Opps!

 

I also used the Color Coach as I wanted to use Certainly Celery and the Color Coach suggested some complimentary colours.

 

 

 

Supplies:

Stamp set: Cheep Talk, Printed Petals, Picture This

Card: Pretty in Pink, Whisper White
Ink: Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue, Pretty in Pink

Accessories:  1-3/4” (4.4 cm) Scallop Circle Extra-Large Punch, Basic Rhinestones, Dimensionals, SNAIL Adhesive

Pink Flamingo – Two Step Stamping

Sometimes I find that I cannot decide on what colour combination to use or maybe I just need something new, so I like to use the colours within the Designer Series Papers as an challenge and/or inspiration.

 

The Pink Flamingo Designer Series Paper contains a lot of bright colours that I would not normally use and in each card I have used the paper as the background.

 

The colours within the Pink Flamingo DSP are Chocolate Chip, Real Red, Tempting Turquoise, Summer Sun & Cameo Coral. 

 

In the cards below I have used the retiring colour Cameo Coral and a little bit more two step stamping by using the Wonderful Favourites stamp set.

Stamp sets: Eastern Bloom, Wonderful Favourites and Upsy Daisy 
Card: Cameo Coral, Real Red, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White
Ink: Real Red, Cameo Coral, Chocolate Chip
Accessories: Scallop Edge, Large Oval & Scallop Oval Punches, Chocolate Chip & Real Red

1/4” Grosgrain Ribbon, Pink Flamingo DSP, Snail Adhesive, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Blender Pens

 

Below is another example using the same DSP inspiration this time with the retiring colours Summer Sun and Cameo Coral.
