Hello and Happy Mother’s Day to every Mum!
We have celebrated Mother’s Day with a lovely breakfast together and then we went and seen the lovely Cinderella movie, which was a lovely way to spend the afternoon.
I am wanting to share with you our fabulous new challenge at Come and Get It for this week.
Our challenge theme is “Flowers” and we have some fabulous sponsors too. I have used an image from one our Sponsors Sami Stamps.
This beautiful image is called Wild Flower Beauty and I have created this card for my Mum for Mother’s Day.
There are flowers everywher - on the paper, on the side and in hair of this lovely image.
The colours were inspired by the paper and I have chosen to do an Easel Card and added a section on the back of the front part of the card to leave a message for Mum.
The papers used were from Prima Marketing #843380 Alla-Prima Collection “Ferrulle” & Bo Bunny Love Letters Airmail #13501490.
Here is my card:
The lace and flowers are from my stash and I have also used some pearls in the hair and on the card base.
The sentiment reads “You’re Simply Wonderful” from SAB SU Set Simply Wonderful and was stamped in Crumb Cake on Whisper White cardstock.
The Dies used were from the SU Ovals Collection, Marianne Design Large Petral Oval and the Spellbinders Beaded Ovals Set.
Here is a closer look at the image:
The Copic Colours used were:
Skin: E0000, 00, 21,11, R21
