HJ Sketch

Hi everyone, I hope that your week is shaping up to be a good one.

Just a quick note to let you know about our new challenge over at Holly Jolly this week.

Julie has created a great Sketch challenge and our challenge is sponsored by Bugaboo so if you join us you could win some goodies.

I have gone very non-traditional this week as I found the colour inspiration from one of the sheets of DSP which is in the Print Poetry Designer Series Paper Pack.

The cardstock colours are Midnight Muse, Summer Starfruit and Very Vanilla.

I have also used some Pearls, yep no bling.  Added some texture with some dry embossing and some ribbon.

The image that I have used had a boarder on it so I used that as my boarder to create the Midnight Muse tag boarder.

Here is my card:

Supplies:

Stamp set: Bugaboo Santa’s Reindeer

Card: Summer Starfruit, Midnight Muse, Very Vanilla
Accessories:  Midnight Muse Satin Ribbon, Fancy Fan Embossing Folder, Print Poetry Designer Series Paper Pack, Pearls, Dimensionals, SNAIL Adhesive

Don’t those reindeer seem to be just hopping across the page!

Here is Julie’s Sketch and you can see I twisted the sketch to make my card.

I would like to add my card into the following challenges:

Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas Challenge - #117 3 of Something (3 Pearls)

Christmas Stampin All Year Long Challenge – # 8 Anything Goes

Thanks for much for visiting, hope to see you again soon or maybe over at Holly Jolly?!

Take care….Meg

These colors are definitely NOT traditional!! But they create such a cheery look. The reindeer do look as if they are bounding along . . . Thanks for playing with CSAYL.

A wonderfully happy Christmas card. Your take on the sketch looks fabulous, Meg. I wouldn't have thought of utilizing a tag like that. Thanks for the inspiration. Pretty card!
