Christmas Green

Hi everyone – how is your week started?  Good I hope!!

 

We have a new challenge at Holly Jolly this week and it is to use Christmas Greenery.

 

You know wreaths, pine branches, mistletoe.

 

Our challenge this week is also sponsored by Fred She Said and I have used one of their images.

 

I loved the mistletoe hanging off the branches where the Cardinal bird has landed and so I have focussed my card on this image.

 

I cut out the bird and the mistletoe and layered it on the other image.  I have also embossed the Whisper White cardstock and added some ribbon.

 

 

 

 

Supplies:

Stamp set: More Merry Messages, Fred She Said Cardinal Christmas

Card: Real Red, Early Espresso, Whisper White
Ink: Early Espresso

Accessories:  Fancy Fan Embossing Folder, White Ribbon (non-SU), Dimensionals, SNAIL Adhesive

 

 

I am happy with the end result and I love how the green of the mistletoe just seems to jump out at you.
