Inkspirational Sketch Challenge

We are on to our fourth challenge at Inkspirational Challenges and this week it is one of my favourites – a Sketch!!

I am not sure about you but I love to use a sketch, it can really make you think outside the “norm” and I love it when it all comes together.

Well my card is another fairly simple design and I have used the new Paper Doily Sizzlits Die that I recently purchased.  One layer is in Whisper White cardstock and the other in Crumb Cake cardstock.

The paper is from the Birds of a Feather DSP pack and the flowers on the word banner have been pouched out of a piece of scrap Island Indigo card stock with the flower punch from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Back.

The sentiment is from the Loving Thoughts stamp set.

Here is my take on the sketch…

Stamp set: Loving Thoughts

Card: Melon Mambo, Whisper White, Crumb Cake
Ink: Melon Mambo

Accessories:  Paper Doily Sizzlits Die, Birds of a Feather DSP, Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack, Basic Rhinestones, Dimensionals, SNAIL Adhesive

and here is the sketch that can be seen on the challenge blog

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Clear It Out Challenge – Circle & Anything from your Stash

Crafty Boots Challenge - New

Creative Creations Challenge – #2 Keep it Simple

The Kraft Journal Challenge – Use Kraft cardstock & punch

Avenue 613 Challenge – Anything with Kraft

That Craft Place Challenge – New Year Goodies

So if you love sketches we would love you to join us plus there is some great inspiration from my fellow Design Team members too!!!

Enjoy the rest of your week and keep creating….Meg

It's a great sketch and you've made such a lovely version of it! Such decorative circles and a beautiful, soft color scheme. I so look forward to sit down and have a go at this sketch too. Unfortunately I must wait till the weekend comes...
