Wedding Card

Hi everyone,

Just a quick post to share with you a card that I created for a friend at work who is attending a wedding on the weekend.

The card colours and the Orchard choice for the image were inspired by the original wedding invitation which was received in a box and there was a layer of an Orange Tulle  material.

I have used Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Pumpkin Pie and retired Naturals Ivory card stock to create the card.

The Pumpkin Pie piece of card was die cut using the Large Scallop Edgelit and embossed using one of the folders from the Delicate Designs Embossing Folder.

The Orchard image is Non SU and the sentiment “The New Mr & Mrs” is from the retired Marry Me stamp set.

Here is the front of the card…

In the inside of the card I added a pocket which was created using the Petite Pocket Die as they will be adding a gift in the card.

I used Crumb Cake card stock so that the pocket did not take over the message on the inside of the card but I embossed a piece of Very Vanilla card stock using the Lacy Brocade Textured Embossing Folder on the flap part of the pocket.

The sentiment reads “For You” and is from the Elements of Style stamp set.  A little bit of Linen Thread has been used to hold the pocket closed.

Here is the inside of the card..

Supplies:

Stamp set: Elements of Style, Marry Me, Non-SU Orchid Stamp

Card: Crumb Cake, Pumpkin Pie, Natural Ivory, Early Espresso, Very Vanilla

Ink: Soft Suede, Crumb Cake

Accessories:  1” Circle Punch, Lacy Brocade Textured Embossing Folder, Petite Pocket Die, Large Scallop Edgelit, Delicate Designs Embossing Folder, Linen Thread, Mini Silver Brads, Basic Rhinestones, Dimensionals, SNAIL Adhesive

I have not used the Petite Pocket Die for ages and it was a great way to create a quick pocket.
