Three “R’s” Challenge

Just a quick post to let you know about our new challenge at Holly Jolly this week, which is to create a project with 3 “R’s” such as Red, Reindeer, Ribbon, Rhinestones etc.

 

I have chosen Red, Rhinestones and Ribbon for my project which is a card.

 

I have used Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla cardstock with some retired Very Vanilla Taffeta Ribbon.

 

My card layout has been inspired by the sketch at Clean and Simple and I have textured embossed the larger piece of Very Vanilla cardstock with the Lacy Brocade embossing folder.

 

The three snow flakes are from the Snowflake Soiree stamp set and the sentiment is from the More Merry Messages stamp set.

Ink: Cherry Cobbler

Accessories:  Scallop Edge Border Punch, Decorative Label Punch, Very Vanilla Ribbon (retired), Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder,  Basic Rhinestones, Dimensionals, SNAIL Adhesive

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I am really into the clean and simple layouts at the moment and this card was quite easy to create.
