More than 2 Folds

Hello and thanks for visiting.

A quick post about our new challenge at Come and Get It and this week Judy has chosen:

Cards with 2 or more Folds

So I finally decided to have a go at a Side Stepped card.

I have used some lovely paper I recently purchased at a local craft shop and layered some butterflies from my favourite die/embossing folder – Beautiful Wings.

The card stock used is Real Red, Chocolate Chip and Naturals Ivory.  I have sponged around the edges of all the natural ivory cardstock with Crumb Cake ink.

I have used some new dies too – one is a Wild Rose Studio Die called Wild Rose and the other is a Nestabilities die called Decorative Labels Eight.  I decided the paper was so lovely that all I wanted to add was a sentiment.

The Sentiment is from the Perfect Pennants stamp set.

Here is my card:

Here is a close up of the sentiment, which reads
“Life doesn’t have to be perfect to be Wonderful”.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Inkspirational Challenge - #57 Bloom

Suzy Bee’s Bloomin’ Challenge - #31 Layer It up

Craftitude Challenge - #66 Pop It Up

Crafty Catz Weekly Challenge - #233 Anything Goes

Moving Along with the Times Challenge – No Image

Scrapbooker PHD Challenge - #22 Use Your Die Cuts

Southern Girls Challenge – Sparkle and Shine with bit of Bling

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend and I hope to see you again soon.
