Warm Christmas

Our new challenge over at Holly Jolly this week is to create a warm scene like beach theme or use warm colours when creating a Christmas project.

I have decided to choose warm colours for my card and I have masked an area of the card and sponged So Saffron, More Mustard, Cajun Craze and Real Red on Whisper White.

I then stamped in Chocolate Chip the snowflakes from the Snow Flurry set and added a Christmas sentiment from the More Merry Messages stamp set.

Of course I added bling and a bow.

Here is my card

At first I was going to stamp the sentiment straight on but then I added it on an angle as I wanted it to almost be drifting with the snowflakes down the card.

This is certainly non-traditional and I had fun creating it!

I would like to enter the card into the following challenges:

One Stitch at a Time Challenge = #190 Anything Goes

Fresh Brewed Design Monthly Challenge – Snow/Christmas

Lady Bug Crafts Monthly Challenge – Autumn Colours

Treasured Times Challenge - #15 Non-Traditional Christmas colours

Creative Corner Challenge – Let it Snow

4 Crafty Chicks Challenge - #168 Snowflakes

Crafty Ribbons Challenge - #70 Anything Goes with Ribbon

Thank you for visiting – see you next time.

I love the warmth that comes through from your colour scheme Meighan. Non traditional maybe, but the warmth of the Christmas Wishes is very traditional and sincere. Good luck in our challenge this week. Ingrid xx ( OSAAT Team )
