Layers


The middle of the month and time for a new challenge at ABC Challenges.


Our theme - L is for Lots of Layers

I have used a sweet Lemon Shortbread image called Star Field Fairy and coloured it in with Copic Markers.

For my lots of layers I have used papers, die cuts, lace and flowers.

Here is my card:


A sweet image and I added some Wink of Stella to her wings.

The lace, paper and flowers are from my stash and I have created the leaves using SU Build a Bird punch and some Wild Wasabi cardstock.

The SU cardstock used is Sahara Sand and Neutrals White.

The sentiment is from Lilly of the Valley Circle sentiments set and has been stamped in SU Soft Suede and punched out with the 1 3/4" punch.  The die cut is Lace Circle die from Memory Box.

The Copic Markers used were:

Hair E37, 35, 33, 30
Flowers: BG13, 11, 10, R02, 01, 0000, G20, YG61, 63
Stars: Y00, 13, 15

A Christmas Song


Hello and thanks for visiting.

Just a quick post to share with you my card for our new challenge at Holly Jolly.


Our theme: Inspired by a Christmas Song

Our Sponsors: Bugaboo, Sami Stamps and The Stamping Boutique


I have used a stamp from The Stamping Boutique "Calling Birds Snowman" and coloured the image in with Copic Markers.

The image is layered on SU Pacific Point and Crumb Cake cardstock with some Christmas Colour Paper.

Here is my card: 


Can you guess my Christmas Song?

Good old Frosty the Snowman.


A fairly simple layout and I have been practicing my double and triple bows.

DIY Background


We have a new challenge over at Come and Get It and I wanted to share with you the card that I made.


Our Theme: Make Your Own Background

Our Sponsor: A Day for Daisies


I have created the background layer pay adding Distress Ink Broken China, Faded Jeans and Weathered Wood to a piece of SU Whisper White cardstock

The piece of cardstock was embossed using the new SU Seaside embossing folder, there was some extra Distress Faded Jeans ink added to the folder before it was embossed.

Here is my card: 




The image was coloured using the Copic Markers and I also added some Wink of Stella to the image.

The sentiment is Kaisercraft "Blue Bay" stamp set and stamped in SU Night of Navy ink.

The cardstock used is SU Night of Navy and Xpress It Blending cardstock.

The lace is from my stash.

We have a fun new challenge over at ABC Challenge and we would love you join us.

I have used a Lacy Sunshine image called Honey Spring Bee Buggmee and coloured the image in with Copic Markers.

I found the wonderful paper sheet from Couture Creations Hearts Ease Collection "Pansy Dreaming" in my paper stash and have used both sides on the card.

Here is my card: 



The dies used were from SU Ovals Collection and Spellbinders Nestabilities Beaded Ovals Collection.

The sentiment is from the SU Amazing Birthday stamp set and reads 
"So Thankful for every bit of You".  

The sentiment has been inked in Sahara Sand and die cut using the Banners Framelits Die.

The ribbon bow and pearls are also from my stash.

There is a touch of Wink of Stella on the yellow flower centre and the yellow parts of the beehive hat.

Ribbon



Time to share with you my new Christmas card for our new challenge at Holly Jolly.

I have used a Morgan's Artworld called Goth Fairy.

Here is my card: 


I have used the Winter Snow Martha Stewart around the page punch for the snowflake border.

The image has been coloured in with Copic Markers and the ribbon and paper are from my stash.

The stamps have been inked and stamped in Crumb Cake ink and they are from the SU Holly Jolly Greetings set.

A Friend is....


It's a cold Sunday afternoon here is Sydney, so time to stay indoors and craft !

We have a new challenge at Come and Get It and I would like to share my card with you.

I have used a sentiment image from Sentimental Susan for my card and added another sentiment to make my card.

Here is my card: 


The second sentiment is from an SU stamp set Butterfly Basics.

The sweet little image is a Morehead die cut images which have been layered with dimensionals.  
The product number from the sheet is 11052-322.


The cardstock used is SU Note Quite Navy, Whisper White and Sahara Sand.

The sentiment has been stamped in Not Quite Navy ink.
