Hello and Happy New Year to you.

We have a new challenge at Bizzy Bec's and we would love you to join us.

Our theme is Anything Goes and I even though it is January I have decided to get started on some Christmas cards for this year.

Here is my card: 

This is a super sweet image and I can see me making a number of cards in different colours.

The papers and blue rhinestones are from my stash.  

There is a touch of clear Wink of Stella to the wings and Liquid Pearls Platinum Pearl in the globe to create small snow flakes.

The base cardstock is SU Thick Whisper White, Crumb Cake and the image has been stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Xpress It cardstock.

BB - Life is Beautiful

Another quick post to share with you a project I created using a couple of stamps and some design paper. 

I added a little touch of colour with my copic markers to the flower image and the sentiment I stamped on the designer paper.

The image was stamped using Memento Black Ink on Xpress It Cardstock.

CAGI - Anything but a Card

Hello and thanks for visiting.

I am sharing with you my second project for the challenge at Come and Get It.

My second creations is Anything but a Card and I have created a Chocolate Slider.

I am also showcasing one of our sponsors images from Paper Nests Dolls - Elf Ellie with Gifts

Here is my project: 

These chocolate sliders are so easy to make and my Mum needed a gift so perfect timing.

I love how you just pull the ribbon and out slides the chocolate inside.

I coloured the image in with Copic markers.

The image was die cut using from the SU Ovals Collection and also Spellbinders Nestabilities

Labels Ten Collection.

The sentiment is from the SU Festival of Trees and reads "A Merry Little Wish.." and I punched it out with the SU Duet Banner Punch.

The image was printed on Xpress It Blending cardstock.

I have created a card in shades of greens with some basic colours of SU Basic Grey and Whisper White.

The image on my card is a decoupage image from Reddy Creative Cards and the image was created by Caron Vinson.

There are many little layers but love how the image looks on this card.

The green cardstock used is retired SU Pistachio Pudding.

I have embossed the Whisper White cardstock with an SU embossing folder called Falling Petals.

For the glitter on my card I have used SU Glitter paper and die cut it using a die from the Spellbinders Nestabilities Fleur De Elegance Collection.

CAGI Challenge Peace, Love and Joy

Hello and welcome to my blog.

My first Design Team was at Come and Get It Challenges and I learnt a lot during my time with the team and made some wonderful friends.

I was recently told that CAGI will be having their final challenge in December and with a sad heart the challenge will then close.  

On a happy note I was super excited to be asked by Cindy to join the team and be part of the challenge for December and I hope that you will join us too!

As always in December CAGI the team showcases cards and projects with the sponsors images.

So this is my first post for CAGI in December to showcase a card made with
Bestie Dolls digital image - Peace, Love, Joy

I have coloured the image in with Copic markers and created lots of layers using DSP from SU
"Around the World".

Here is my card: 

The dies used are from SU Square collection and Spellbinders Nestabilities Captivating Squares collection.

The fabric snowflakes are from my stash and there are a few SU pearls on the card too.

The soft blue colours were perfect for this card and I added a touch of Wink of Stella on the image wings.

The cardstock is SU Pool Party and Basic Grey and the image is printed on Xpress It Blending cardstock.

SG Inks and Sprays

Hello and welcome.

I am sharing with you a card made for our new challenge at Southern Girls.

Our theme: Inks and Sprays

Our sponsors: Ppinky Dolls and Krafterscart

I am sure you will agree with me, we all make some fabulous purchases but some of those purchases just seem to gather dust.

Well one of these items for me was my Adirondack Ink Sprays but I brushed away the dust and had such messy fun using them for this challenge.

I used some SU Whisper White cardstock and randomly sprayed the inks until the cardstock was covered.  

The messy part was that one of them leaked and my hands were blue and green for a day or too.  

  I was glad I put newspaper down or the messy part could have been a lot worse.

The image I have used is from Ppinky Doll and is called Moongirl and Bird.

Here is my card:

The Adirondack spray colours used were: 

Lettuce, Bottle, Denim and Stream

I wanted to create a sort of blue background to seem like the night sky which I thought would be perfect for the image.

They are such sweet images but sometimes they look so sad.

The sentiment I have used is from the SU Special Reason stamp set, stamped in SU Island Indigo ink  and reads:

"There's no special reason for this card.."

The flag diecut is from Craft Queen.  The paper doily is from my stash.

The cardstock used is SU Island Indigo, Baja Breeze and X-Press It Blending cardstock.

I have used the sponsors image called The Glamorous Girls and I coloured the image in with
Copic Markers.

Another CAS style card and I found some SU retired DSP 'Bohemian' and the paper was die cut using one of the Marianne dies from the Petra Large set.  I also used a die cut from the SU Ovals collection.

Here is my card: 

The sentiment is from the SU stamp set 'Suite Sayings' and was stamped in SU Perfect Plum ink.

The embellishments are from SU retired 'Fancy Frost Sequins' and I used the slightly blue 

coloured ones.

SG Crazy for Critters

Hello and welcome.

I am sharing with you my card for our new challenge at Southern Girls.

Our theme:  Crazy for Critters

So what is a critter?  Well according to the online dictionary it is a living creature/animal.  So the sweet decoupage image I have used is perfect.

I have been cleaning a few thing up recently and found a decoupage sheet with Morehead images and the little girl with her sweet kitten goes well with the paper I found also.

Here is my card:

The cardstock used is SU retired Blackberry Bliss and Bashful Blue and Whisper White.

The little lace was also in my stash and just added a soft touch to the card.
