CAGI – Butterflies and Dragonflies

One of my favourite themes is our challenge this week at Come and Get It we are challenging you to use Butterflies or Dragonflies.

I love adding butterflies to my creations I have added a layered butterfly to my card and our challenge is sponsored by Fitztown, so I have used one of the sponsor’s images.

The paper is from a DSP back I picked up at Lincraft (one of our craft/sewing shops) and it fitted perfectly with the image. I also added a little “happy birthday” because this will be a perfect card for one of my nieces.

Here is my card:

Happy Birthday

Hi everyone,

I have created a birthday card using the colour challenge from Create with Connie and Mary and the sketch layout from Sketch Frenzy Friday.

Both challenges can be seen below:

I have used Riding Hood Red for the base of my card and I have used the lovely butterfly from the Strength and Hope set.

I have flipped the sketch and replaced the bow with the butterfly.
