One of my favourite embellishments is ribbon and then creating bows so I am hosting the new challenge over at Come and Get It for the next week and so I have chosen this as the theme for the challenge:
Ribbon & Bows
So if you we would love to see you there if you get a chance plus you could win a wonderful prize from our sponsor Stamping Boutique.
I have used a Stamping Boutique image called Smoochie and coloured her in with my Copic markers.
The layout for my card has been inspired by the current challenge at Sketch and Stash Challenge and I have used some DSP which retired called More Amore. I just loved the colours in this paper plus there were some die cut hearts in the pack. I have used about 4 of these hearts to create the border behind the image.
I have also used some flowers (non-SU) from my stash and the wonderful retired satin ribbon Pretty in Pink for the ribbon and created two bows.
The Happy Birthday sentiment is from the Sketched Birthday stamp set and has been die cut using the Bitty Banners die.
I have also used the Scallop Trim Border punch, Large Scallop Edgelits die as well as one of the embossing folders from the Delicate Designs set.
Here is my card:
