Butterfly Challenge

Hi everyone,

I have completed the card below based on the Color Dare # 99 (CD99) Colour Challenge and the layout of the card was inspired from this week’s Inkspiration Sketch Challenge # 61

The Inkspiration Sketch is below and the colours that are part of this week’s Color Dare challenge are: Basic Gray, Cherry Cobbler and Marina Mist.

I have used Basic Grey for the base of my card and where the circle part of the sketch is I have added some of the Butterfly images from the Beautiful Wings Embosslits Die.

Supplies:

Stamp set: Inspired by Nature

Card: Basic Grey, Cherry Cobbler, Marina Mist, Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White
Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Basic Grey

Accessories:  3/8” (1 cm) Marina Mist Taffeta Ribbon, Eyelet Border Punch, Beautiful Wings Embosslits Die,  Dimensionals, SNAIL Adhesive

I haven’t used the Beautiful Wings Embosslit Die very much and you may not be able to see from the photo but the butterflies are embossed with very different patterns.

I love Cherry Cobbler so if I have any excuse to use this colour -  I will!

I am happy with the end result, let me know what you think by leaving a comment and thanks once more for visiting…….. Meg x

Inspired by Nature Challenge

Hi everyone,

We are so close to the weekend!  But I don’t know about you but my is already planned and will be non-stop!

I have not used the Inspired by Nature stamp set for a while, so I have used this set when I created my card for the Just Us Girls Challenge # 74 - JUGS74.

I have placed a copy of the sketch with this posting or you can visit the Just Us Girls site if you click here.

I have used Pear Pizzazz for the base card and I stamped the long grass on the base card with Pear Pizzazz ink.

Green February

The monthly challenge for the Stampin Up in Oz Group is to create something green.

I have tried to be as green as I can and I have used the following colours:

Wild Wasabi, Certainly Celery and Old Olive

Supplies:

Stamp set: Bliss, Inspired by Nature, Apple Blossoms

Card: Wild Wasabi, Certainly Celery
Ink: Wild Wasabi, Certainly Celery, Old Olive, Crumb Cake

Accessories:  Scallop Oval Extra-Large Punch, Retired Wild Wasabi Ribbon, Dimensionals, SNAIL Adhesive

I did use a little bit of Crumb Cake ink for the bird as I did not think he wanted to be green too!

It’s very green fitting in well with St. Patricks Day.

Until next time.  Keep creating…. Meg x
