Monkey Business

I found a new challenge at Mashup! Challenges – click here to visit Mashup! and the most recent challenge is # 37 with a theme of Zoo Animals.

 

So I have combined the Mashup! Challenge with the new ColorLab Color Challenge # 34.  To visit ColorLab click here.

I decided to you use the Fox & Friends stamp set as I do not use this set very much and I thought it would suite both challenges.

 

I used Chocolate Chip for the base of my card and this cheeky monkey could not keep still - bouncing all over the place…

Well I have used this set once more and I have completed the challenge, so I am happy.

Cottage Garden Challenge

Yes back again with another card, this time from the Creative Sketches CS22 Sketch Challenge.

 

 

What do you think of the sketch challenges that have lots of layers – I love them as you get to use the some of that DSP you just had to have LOL!

 

So I have used the Sunny Garden DSP and again taken the colours from this paper.  Colours in this DSP include Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight, Pear Pizzazz and Peach Parfait.

 

A change for me too – hardly any stamping. 

 

I just randomly stamped the small bunch of flowers from the Cottage Garden stamp set in Peach Parfait ink on the Peach Parfait base card.

Life Happens Challenge

The next card I created uses the sketch from Skipping Stone and the colour combination from Just Add Ink.

I have used Cherry Cobbler (love this colour) as the base card and Sunny Garden DSP to add the wonderful Daffodil Delight colour.  I have also added the Daffodil Delight colour with a stamped flower image from the Vintage Vogue set.

 

If you remember from by previous post I was struggling to use the Vintage Vogue set – now I have used it twice in a row :)

Stamping 411 Saturday Challenge

I have completed a card for the Stamping 411 Challenge SSC191 but unfortunately I missed out posting it to the blog.  You can see the sketch if you click here.

 

My card uses the Sunny Garden DSP as the background and I have continued to use the bright colours from this paper when I stamped the images for the card.

 

The stamp set is For You Flower, this is a great single stamp and can be used in so many ways.

Card Patterns Sketch

I have completed another card sketch, this one can be found at Card Patterns site and the challenge is Sketch 103.

I have created a card using the Sunny Garden DSP which contains some great fun colours such as Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight, Pear Pizzazz and Peach Parfait.

 

Supplies:

Stamp set: Every Moment, Vintage Labels, Printed Petals

Card: Poppy Parade, Whisper White
Ink: Poppy Parade, Peach Parfait, Pear Pizzazz

Accessories:  1/2” (1.3 cm) Stitched Pear Pizzazz Poly Ribbon, 1-3/8” (3.5 cm) Circle Large Punch, 1” (2.5 cm) Circle Medium Punch, 1-3/4” (4.4 cm) Scallop Circle Extra-Large Punch, Dimensionals, SNAIL Adhesive

 

 

I punched the circles out of the DSP and then placed some Whisper White card stock behind the DSP.  I then stamped through the holes.

 

This was a quick card to make and I added the ribbon as an added touch.

 

I love these challenges, so I am off to do the next one :)
