Bingo
Hello and thank you for visiting.
Just a quick post to let you know about our BINGO challenge at Come and Get It this week.
We have two sponsors Bugaboo and Limited Runs and you get to chose from a Bingo Board – interested click here to have a look.
I have used an image called Ollie the Giraffe from Limited Runs and coloured it in with Copic Markers (E40,42,43). The layout for my card is inspired by the current sketch at the Sketch and Stash challenge.
The paper used was a recent gift and I have used the swirl stamp from the retired Baroque Motifs – yes I couldn’t part with it yet.
The flower & lace are from my stash and the leaves have been created with a little SU die called Little Leaves Sizzlits. The other dies used are some Ovals from the SU Ovals Collection Dies and one of the dies from Marianne Dies LR0240 (Petra’s Large Oval Die). Plus I have used the small oval punch.
Here is my card
Wow sometimes it is not until you finish the card do you remember all the little bits and pieces that went into creating the card. LOL.
Here is the sketch:
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges

Cherish
Hi everyone,
There are a couple of wedding/anniversary challenges around at the moment and I have combined them with the colour challenge from CCEE Stampers – Black, White and Pink.
A lot of people now use black and white with a touch of colour for their wedding cards. I completed some wedding invitations for some good friends and one had black and white with red like her wedding dress.
The other was white and black, so the details for my wedding card with Black, White and Pink……
I have used the retired For the Bride stamp set, I really love this set and is a great to use for wedding invitations or cards.
I have added a small strip of the Pretty in Pink card stock to the cake image and punched out a small heart from the Owl Builder punch for the top of the cake. The flower is from the Boho Blossoms punch and both the heart and the flower have dimensionals attached to them to give them a bit of depth.
The word is from the Baroque Motifs stamp set and it has been punched out using the Modern Label Punch. I have also punched out a strip of Pretty in Pink card stock with the Lace Ribbon Border.
Here is my card:
Supplies:
Stamp set: Baroque Motifs, For the Bride
Card: Basic Black, Pretty in Pink, Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black
Accessories: Boho Blossoms Punch, Owl Builder Punch, Modern Label Punch, Lace Ribbon Border Punch, Basic Rhinestones, Dimensionals, SNAIL Adhesive
I love how versatile punches are and how you can use them in so many different ways, they have to be one of my best investments.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
CCEE Stampers – Black, White and Pink
Crazy 4 Challenges – Add Black cardstock
So Artful Challenges – Wedding/Anniversary
Stampin with the Dragon – Weddings in the Air
C.R.A.F.T Challenge - #151 Wedding/Anniversary
Hope that my little creation has inspired you in some way :) and that you will be back soon. Until next time stay safe and well…… Meg

Layer Punch Flowers
Well I hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine was busy but us girls - my Mum, my daughter and I had a lovely dinner together on Saturday night :)
Now on to the card I wanted to share with you.
The layout is the Mojo Monday layout # 237 and I have combined it with the colour challenge from Play Date Cafe which is very bright Orange and Pink with White.
I used the Triple Layer Punch and I punched out 4 flowers in Tangerine Tango and Melon Mambo.
I used the outline of the Melon Mambo flowers and attached them to a Whisper White strip of card stock. I added dimensionals to the back of the Tangerine Tango punched flower and lined it up the Melon Mambo outline with some ‘bling’ to the centre of the punched flower.
The base card of Tangerine Tango was embossed with the Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and I swiped the Tangerine Tango ink pad across the card stock.
I daubered a light touch of Tangerine Tango ink to the edge of the Whisper White strip but I wanted to add a little bit more. So with a scrap of Melon Mambo card stock I punched out a border with the Lace Ribbon Border punch. I cut the border in half and daubered some Whisper White craft ink on the Melon Mambo border to soften the colour a little.
The sentiment “Cherish” is from the Baroque Motifs stamp set and has been punched out with the Modern Label punch.
Here is my card:
Supplies:
Stamp set: Baroque Motifs
Card: Tangerine Tango, Melon Mambo, Whisper White
Ink: Tangerine Tango, Melon Mambo, Whisper White Craft Ink
Accessories: Triple Layer Punch Blossom Bouquet, Modern Label Punch, Lace Ribbon Border Punch, Stripes Textured Impression Embossing Folder, Basic Rhinestones, Dimensionals, SNAIL Adhesive
This is different to my normal cards but I just gave it a try to see what I would get – as a number of my other stamping buddies say “it’s only cardstock” and you don’t know until you try.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Mojo Monday Challenge - #237 Sketch
Play Date Cafe - #128 Colour Challenge
Fussy and Fancy Challenge - #61 Punches / Dies
Crafty Catz Weekly Challenge – Stripes or Checks, you chose
Thanks for visiting once more, see you next time… Meg

Cherish
Hi everyone,
It’s the middle of the week and I don’t know about you but things are so busy.
But as you will appreciated, we always need a bit of my time and with my time tonight after finishing some chores, I have created a new card to share with you and the card uses two challenges.
The first is the current colour challenge # 148 from Create with Connie & Mary and the other challenge is the sketch challenge # 137 from the Clean & Simple site.
The colours from the colour challenge are wonderful, they have co-ordinated so well.
For the sketch I have used the lovely swirls image from the Baroque Motifs set for the main part of the card. I had forgotten how much I love this stamp set !
Supplies:
Stamp set: Baroque Motifs
Card: Wild Wasabi, Perfect Plum, So Saffron, Whisper White
Ink: Wild Wasabi, Perfect Plum
Accessories: Eyelet Border Punch, Antique Brads, Basic Rhinestones, SNAIL Adhesive
I have added one of the Antique Brads to the card and I have used the Eyelet Border Punch to add a little bit more to the side of the card.
What do you think? I really like the end results and the colours look so good !
Leave me a comment if you get a chance and please visit again soon……. Meg x

Wedding invitations
Hi everyone, sorry for not posting earlier things have been very busy.
The wedding invitations as mentioned in my previous post, have been completing for a friend and posted.
These invitations are the second lot of wedding invitations I have completed this year and I am really enjoying creating invites.
The first invites I created were for a wedding in March this year and my little girl was a flower girl. She looked beautiful and I was very proud of her.
The bride had requested a theme of black, red and white and we finally found a design that she like and it was using one of my favourite stamp sets – Baroque Motifs.
This was one of the first sets I brought and I have used this set so many times.
If you are not sure of the set it appears on page 100 of the current catalogue and it is pictured below.
I also used a number of the swirls from the Priceless set – this set is on page 90 of the current catalogue.
A picture of the front of the card is below and when you opened the wedding invitations, the main details of the card were in the centre of the layout and there was a pocket on the right hand side of the card were the Wishing Well and RSVP cards were kept.
The menu and table cards were also created in Black, Red and White and I stamped the swirl from the Priceless set on the these items.
The ribbon crossed over the front and the inside pocket of the card.
Supplies:
Stamp sets: Priceless & Baroque Motifs
Card: Real Red, Basic Black and Whisper White
Ink: Basic Black and Real Red
Accessories: Whisper White 3/8” Taffeta Ribbon, SNAIL Adhesive
The second invitations were created using a set I liked from the moment I saw it - For the Bride.
Unfortunately this set has retired but I have posted these invites as they may provide you with inspiration to create something similar.
The Bride on this occasion was not sure what she wanted in regards to a colour theme and in the end we settled on Black, White and Grey.
The front of the card was very simple with the bride stamp being the main image with a little paper piercing in the corner.
Supplies:
Stamp sets: For the Bride (retired)
Card: Basic Black, Whisper White and non-SU metallic grey cardstock
Ink: Basic Black
Accessories: 1-3/4” x 7/8” (4.4 x 2.2 cm) Oval Large Punch, 2” x 1-3/8” (5 x 3.5 cm) Oval Large Punch, SNAIL Adhesive, Dimensionals. Mat Pack, Paper-Piercing Tool, Bone Folder, Whisper White envelopes
The initials of the bride and groom were printed and punched out. Two dimensionals were placed on one side of the punched ovals so that the card was held close by tucking the bride image under the initials. This can be seen in the picture below.
The bride image was stamped on each RSVP and the envelope as per the images below.
I am in the process of completing the table menus and place cards for this wedding.
The brides were happy with the invites and isn’t that the main aim! :)
I have found sometime over the past few days to create a few new cards from the new catalogue and I will post them over the next few days.
Thanks for stopping by!
Till next time - Meg
