Inkspirational New Year & First Challenge

 

Happy New Year everyone – I truly hope you had a wonderful Christmas and that 2014 brings much happiness to you and your family.

 

The first post of the new year and the internet is not working properly but found another why to work around the issue, on to the first challenge this year:

What will you create?  This is my very CAS card for the challenge.

 

 

Told you it was CAS.

 

I raided my stash and found some retired DSP and this wonderful Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon.  The sentiment is from the Oh, Hello stamp set and it was punched out using the Curly Label punch.

Easy as 1-2-3

Over at Crafty Creations this week we have a 1-2-3 challenge for you.

 

1 Ribbon

2 Embellishments

3 Papers

 

So my card has:

 

1 x Ribbon Bow that I found in my ribbon stash

2 x Embellishments – an obvious choice for me, butterflies and bling!

3 x Papers – I found some retired DSP in my stash that I thought would go well together

Ink: Chocolate Chip
Accessories:  Beautiful Wings Embosslits, Chocolate Chip Ribbon (retired), SU Retired DSP, Basic Rhinestones, Dimensionals, SNAIL Adhesive

 

The layout for my card was inspired by the current sketch from Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge and the sentiment was the last touch which to me seemed to fit perfectly.
