Hi everyone,
Hope your weekend has been great or that it will be great – depending on where you in the world.
The weather here in Sydney has been lovely again today, a little humid but there is a lovely breeze blowing now and you can hear the birds chattering away.
A lovely friend of mine had a little girl about a month ago and I finally caught up with her today and meet little Christina for the first time.
I took over a small gift and I made a card, not in the traditional pinks. I used some of the colours from the Spice Cake Designer Series Paper and the happy little elephant image from the Elebration stamp set.
Supplies:
Stamp set: Elebration, Teeny Tiny Sentiments
Card: Pear Pizzazz, More Mustard, Very Vanilla
Ink: Pear Pizzazz, Chocolate Chip
Accessories: Word Window Punch, 38” (1cm) Velvet Very Vanilla Designer Ribbon, Spice Cake DSP, Basic Rhinestones, Dimensionals, SNAIL Adhesive
I really like how the card looked when finished and the ‘bling’ on the balloon was an added touch.
I will enter this card at the challenges found at :
My Time Made Easy – Sketch Challenge # 49
Moving Along With The Times – Lots of Layers, at least two
The Play Date Cafe – Colour Challenge, Baby Blue, Orange, Basil
– my colours inspired from the Spice Cake DSP include Pear Pizzazz for the Green, Baja Breeze for the Blue and More Mustard for the Orange.
I am off to organise a little person for school tomorrow and do some chores.
Thanks for coming back to visit – take care and see you again soon…… Meg
