Just a quick post to tell you about about new challenge at Come and Get It and our challenge theme is:

 

Flowers

 

and we have two sponsors Fred She Said and Digi Stamps 4 Joy.

 

I have created a birthday card using the new Spiral Flower Die from the Seasonal Catalogue and I watched a video on Patty Bennett’s blog on how Patty used the die, you can view the link here.

 

Being my first attempt I am happy with the flowers but I need to practice more on getting some smaller buds and also with some other ways to create the flowers maybe different colours and more sanding.

 

The layout of my card has been inspired by the sketch at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.

Here is a close up of the flowers which show you the two different cardstock.  I used Raspberry Ripple and Primrose Petals.

 

 

 

I just love flowers so I just love this die and I think it will be used a lot.

 

The sentiment is from the Bloomin with Kindness set and the punch is from the Scallop Trim Border punch.

Give Thanks

Hi everyone, our new theme for this weeks challenge over at Come and Get It is to give Thanks.  Maybe for Thanksgiving or just because you need to say thank you to someone.  The choice is yours.

 

I have created a bright and CAS design Thank You card and I have used some of the Washi Tape too.

Card: Daffodil Delight, Primrose Petals, Whisper White
Ink: Wild Wasabi, Primrose Petals
Accessories:  Gingham Garden Designer Washi Tape, Secret Garden Framelits, Basic Rhinestones, Dimensionals, SNAIL Adhesive

 

I love this quick design and I love how easy it is to add a pop of colour with the Washi Tape – I think I need more !

CAGI Colour Challenge

Hi and thanks for visiting my little creative corner!

 

I have created a card for the new Come and Get It Challenge that I am hosting.

 

This week we are looking for projects that have the following colours only but you can use neutrals:

 

Island Indigo, So Saffron & Lucky Limeade

 

Wonderful fresh colours that can be used in so many ways.

 

I have gone with the Island Indigo as the base and added some Lucky Limeade DSP and my splash of So Saffron is a butterfly!
