A Splash of Colour

Hello everyone and I hope that you are having a fabulous weekend.

Just a quick post for our new challenge at Come and Get It this week.

Our theme is:

Black, White with a Splash of Colour

We have two sponsors Stamp and Create and Oakpond Creations, so we would love you to join us and be in the running for a prize too!

I have used an image from Oak Pond called Daisy Flip Flops and for my splash of colour I have used Pink.

Another very CAS (clean and simple) style card and I have used dies from the Apothecary Accents & Banners Framelits sets.  The “hello” is from the Perfect Pennants stamp set and the punch is Scallop Trim Border Punch.

Here is my card:

There is a touch of bling in the centre of the flowers on the Flip Flops or Thongs as we call them here.

Lots of Layers

It’s Lots of Layers Christmas card challenge over at Holly Jolly this week which is being hosted by Julie.

The layout of my card was inspired by a card layout at Penny Hanuszak blog.  I have used Penny’s layout and added my twist.

Here is my card
